Rocket Ride is a St. Louis based band dedicated to pay tribute to the one our favorite guitar players and band he was in - Ace Frehley/KISS.
The members of the band have had a love for the band KISS since our childhood days, as many others have, and have yet to outgrow the WANT to still act like KISS.  Rocket Ride is basing it's music selections primarily around Ace Frehley (Solo and with KISS), but adding some variety of other tunes as well. If you saw Ace's tour in 2008, you know what we mean.

The concept:
Was brainstorm that BC had for a while, especially after seeing Ace’s 2008 tour.  BC approached Steve with the idea (Ace Frehley songs and no makeup - just good music), since they were working together in another project already.  Steve liked it, so some band name ideas were discussed.  After some time and other factors, they settled on the name Rocket Ride - a studio song found on KISS Alive II.

Rocket Ride has gone through several changes and members, since the start in 2009, though what the band is now calling “Gen III”, has ignited the thrusters and increasing to full motion for 2015  and the future.
This generation focuses heavily on the early vintage KISS, while adding "elements" of later years as well, by conistently added these new elements to the stage show. Check out a Rocket Ride show and you will see what that means.

On the lighter side: Rocket Ride also offers the "unleaded" version, which is the downscaled "unplugged/unmasked" acoustic shows.  This gives the chance for a more intimate and laid back show for the band and fans.  It's a fun experience, whether it be a stand alone show or one a night before a "full" show.

ROCKET RIDE
